By the Road

By the Road
Lies a man,
With everyone rushing to their folksy homes
All alone,
In the snow,
Thirsty for peace of mind
His face, full of emotion
Only tragic serendipity to find,
When everyone, is stuck in a race,
Trying to make it out alive,
In an ocean, full of water,
He’s the only drop of blood you’ll find.
By the Road,
Sitting in the shadows,
While everyone is walking by,
Lies a man,
Full of enlightenment,
And he has a story to tell.
