Ramona

She came to me
In a half remembered dream
And while everything else is gone
She’s yet to leave

The sound of her voice
The various shades of her hair
The way she looks in your eyes
And all your thoughts are laid bare

A hint of sorrow in her smile
Told me it would never last
I knew she’d leave
At least we had a blast

I woke up in a daze
At the crack of dawn
I didn’t need to look
I knew she was gone

Oh, Ramona.
